Practice makes perfect with assembling this camp bed. But it is worth the novice first few attempts, as you're left with a pretty comfy sleeping bed. It is elevated enough to store items underneath it too, helping with managing your tent or tarp space.

Very good camp beds but you will need strength or 2 people to put them together
Cannot set it up. Wish I had tried in store
Used for 1 week or less
I just cannot get the legs in at all. Not even close. Decided to buy as have a bad back and going camping for a week but put my back in trying to get the legs in. Didn't manage a single one. Shame, I've been to decathlon three times in the last week because of problems with another order and I'll be doing the same 40 min journey again returning this.

3 people working together couldn't put it up!
Used for 1 week or less
Bought this for our camping trip and fortunately tested it before going. Found it impossible to put up. We managed to get one leg in and then had great difficulty removing it. We will be returning it to the shop.

Don't be put off by bad reviews
Used for 1 week or less
We're currently in south France camping and have been using decathlons basic blow up bed, after 5 nights my back pain was horrendous to the point it was ruining our holiday. So I nipped to decathlon in Pau and bought this, I tried the more expensive version in store but preferred the comfort of the cheaper one. One night and back pain is gone.

Can be put up and taken down in about 2 mins.

To put up it has to long poles for each side, then the legs, each leg has a different color end, the blue colors twist onto the pole and the black ends just clip on, this part does require a bit of strength but I'm no Eddie Hall and I managed it easily.

Taking down is even easier, I tried pulling the ends off and it was impossible, I think this is where most people are going wrong, all you need to do is turn it upside down and stand with your feet either side of the poles and pull, very very easy. I can get it up and down in under a minute now.

Highly recommended. Also it says maximum 110kg, I am 280lbs which is well over that and it's fine.
You need to be Mr Universe to get these up

I really liked the look of this bed, it was reasonably priced and seems good quality. There is only 1 problem with this bed.... it is impossible to put up, we spent half an hour and only got one leg on (two people) and nearly put our backs out in the process. I love Decathlon goods but this is a big thumbs down. will be returning next time I am in the area. Have reserved a different one that is £25 pounds more but hopefully will be easier - it is for our little girl camping. Probably has cost twice as much in fuel as we live 35 miles away!!!!! Don't buy this folks

Great little camp and quite easy to put together but not too easy to take apart which is my only issue with this bed. I bought another inflatable bed made by the same company to use instead, more expensive at £44.99 each but they are fantastic!
Pointless purchase

While the quality of the manufacture looked great, the bed was impossible to put up! I bought two and tried both of them. I hurt my back trying to get the legs in. Now I have to drive for miles to return them. A waste of time for anyone if they do not have exceptional strength.

Hello Hannah

I'm sorry to hear about the porblems you've had whilst erecting the camp bed. We have found them to be a little tough at first, then they tend to loosen up. Please feel free to return the items to your nearrest Decathlon. We will pass on the information to our product managers.

Too hard to put together
Used for 1 week or less
Two of us eventually managed to get the thing put together at home - but it wouldn't be possible in a tent so it has to go back. If it was as easy as the video makes out it would be a fantastic piece of kit - but it's not.
Response of the brand
Hello Ros,

I'm sorry to hear that you have had an issuse whilst erecting the camp bed. After the initial set up we have found the poles loosen a little, making it easier on the following attempts. If you manage to put it up again, i recommend trying it a few times, if they haven't loosened anymore, please feel free to return to your nearest Decathlon. Your feedback will be passed to the product managers.

Regards

Comfortable, but hard to disassemble.
Used for 3 to 6 months
This type of bed is not too expensive and much more comfortable than an air bed. Packed in it's bag it is a similar size and weight to a folding chair, making it ideal for festivals and car camping.
The main downside is that unless you know the trick, it is very hard to disassemble. Once you have learnt how, it is quick and easy, but if you don't know how to take it apart you will be cursing the thing for half an hour.
I recommend this camp bed, but I strongly recommend that when you buy, you get a shop assistant in store to show you how to take one apart before you take it home.
