The higher the altitude, the lower the oxygen level. This causes our body to behave differently in higher altitudes.

There are 3 main medical problems that people face in high altitudes:

1. Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)
2. High Altitude Cerebral Edema (HACE)
3. High Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE)

In collaboration with Ace Adventure Expeditions, we invited Dr Shani Tan to educate our users on how you can quickly identify, prevent & cure these common high altitude sicknesses!

She has over 30 years of anaesthesia experience in Singapore & New Zealand, and became was the official base camp doctor for the 1st Singapore Everest Expedition in 1998.
