How to choose a fitness mat
Choose your floor mat depending on your sport, your intensity level and whether you will be wearing shoes. - For core strengthening and dynamic exercises, opt for a mat with a protective film. They are more resistant to abrasion and less likely to tear. - For rehabilitation, Pilates or stretching, choose a thick, "cushy" mat. This type of mat will provide greater comfort by offering better insulation from the floor.

Did you know?
Fitness mats are not the same as yoga mats. Take note of the differences between the two to find the right mat for your needs.
Are your poses dynamic, or do you wear shoes? Opt for this mat with a protective film. It better withstands wear. For physio exercises, Pilates and stretching, you need to be comfortable. Go for a thicker mat with a soft texture.

For gym & Pilates, you need to be comfortable and isolated from the floor. For yoga however, while you still need a thick mat, the most important thing is grip. This is why we recommend choosing a mat that is suited to the kind of exercise you do.
