LEVEL OF PRACTICE
For optimal protection, the helmet should completely cover the head. However, it shouldn't be too tight, as this could cause compression points. When the straps are correctly adjusted, the helmet should be stable and not tip forwards, backwards, or to the sides when you shake your head.
For optimal fit, the strap of the helmet should be positioned around the throat an not the chin.
The helmet is designed to completely or partially absorb impacts to the rider's skull in the event of a fall or violent impact to the head. When impacted, the harness and/or padding deforms or breaks in such a way as to absorb the energy of the impact. AS ANY DAMAGE SUFFERED BY THE PROTECTIVE PADDING MAY NOT BE VISIBLE, THE HELMET SHOULD BE REPLACED IN HE EVENT OF ANY IMPACT.
30 ventilation holes, facing forwards in the direction that the air enters and facing backwards in the direction that heat is removed. The polystyrene padding includes aeration vents to circulate air throughout the helmet.
Foam padding in a 2D and 2D breathable mesh fabric liner for greater comfort and ventilation. The internal liner is removable for cleaning and maintenance. It can be easily removed thanks to its rip-tab system. Wash the liner in a washing machine at 30° and allow to air dry.
EN 1384 certified helmets can still be worn in training and competitions. However, some organizations may require other standards for their competitions. If in doubt, we recommend that you consult the competition organiser.
The harmonised standard EN 1384 was repealed in October 2014. Until a new version is issued, in order for them to be sold in Europe, all helmets produced after 4 November 2014 must undergo and be CE marked. This mark must be accompanied either by Directive 89/686/EEC, or by the VG1 01.040 2014-12 document.
Steam brush the outside.
Temperature : Not adjustable
Store away from heat sources such as heating appliances or the parcel shelf of a car in the sun, as this can degrade the protective performance of the polystyrene padding.
Tested in an independent laboratory in compliance with current regulations.
