    1
    Usage temperature:
We display on all our sleeping bags the comfort temperatures tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) according to European standard EN 13537 of 11/04/2002. The comfort temperature is the lower limit of comfort at which the user in relaxed posture is generally in thermal equilibrium and is neither cold nor hot (determined for a standard woman and under normal conditions of use).
    2
What are the temperature limits for use?
Comfort temperature limit: temperature limit at which the sleeping bag user, in a curled-up position, is generally in thermal equilibrium and is neither cold nor hot (determined for a standard man and under normal conditions of use).
    3
However, what you need to know about temperatures:
A sleeping bag does not produce heat but "keeps in" the heat produced by the body. If you're exhausted and cold and you slip into your wet, icy sleeping bag, you'll probably be cold, whatever its qualities! These temperatures depend on the individual's resistance to cold (corpulence, fatigue, etc.), their equipment (mattress insulating them from the ground), clothing (naked, underwear) and climatic conditions (moisture, wind etc).
    4
Little tips for staying warm, before you slip into your sleeping bag:
Dress simply (just 1 layer of clothing is enough). Warm your extremities: hat, gloves, socks, heaters, rubbing, etc. A bottle of hot water can serve as a hot water bottle (if there's no risk of unexpected opening!) Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is transformed into heat) but without making movements that could generate a cold air flow.

A score to compare products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated over its entire lifecycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE rating is provided to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (t-shirts, trousers, backpacks etc). Stockage tips
Easily store away your sleeping bag, tucking it into its bag, feet first. To maintain its volume, which is necessary for its thermal performance, remove its cover and store it in a dry place.

    Maintenance tips
When washing, avoid mixing your sleeping bag in with other clothes or delicate colours, put 1/3 of a measure of powder in to wash, set your machine on the synthetic programme, 30°C. To dry, stretch out the sleeping bag in a dry, ventilated place, without exposing it to the sun or near a heat source, or machine dry it at a low temperature. Tip: a sleeping bag liner means longer between washes, which retains its thermal performance.
