Rubber sole for extra durability

Even on our low-price sandals, we guarantee a high-quality outer sole. We choose to use rubber instead of other, cheaper materials, such as TPR (or TR - thermoplastic rubber), to guarantee better wear-resistance and better grip on off-road trails. Our soles therefore offer you exceptional durability.

Designed for use on off-road trails

Our hiking sandals are designed for use on off-road trails. We choose and test the components of our soles to best adapt to the practice of hiking on loose off-road terrain (like an earthy forest path) or hard, stony trails (like a rocky coastal path). Use on the road (tarmac) may lead to premature wear on your soles.
We do not recommend using them on mountain footpaths on very hilly terrain.

Test

Our design team conceives, designs and creates all of our Quechua products at the foot of Mont Blanc, in France. We test them in the field with other hikers, to check their comfort and durability. In the Forest of Fontainebleau or in Brittany for example. we go to as many different places as possible, in all weather conditions. It's a great opportunity to discuss things, and an invaluable way of obtaining your feedback and preparing our future collections!
