Subea-Tribord diving buoyancy compensators are "wraparound": the volume of the air is distributed over the entire surface of the body that is covered, providing a significant level of buoyancy and improved support in the vertical position.
A combined buoyancy compensator with patented V-shaped straps.
The exclusive shape of the straps leave the arms free whilst providing even better support. The shape of the straps also prevents compression of the chest, making this buoyancy compensator suitable for both men and women. The buckles on the straps allow for easy and accurate adjustment thanks to their shape and size.
Ease of use
The drain tabs have been moved forwards: on the chest for the upper drain, and on the belly under the right-hand pocket for the lower drain. They are also shaped for an easy grip. Consequently, control of the diver’s buoyancy is improved. The openings of the two side pockets have been lowered for easier access.
Reinforced back padding!
For added comfort, Subea-Tribord design teams have developed reinforced back padding on the back of the buoyancy compensators, to cushion the tank.
Weight and buoyancy
Buoyancy XS =80N/8l S =100N/10l M = 130N/13l L =165N/16.5l XL = 180N/18l
Weight: 3.14kg in size M
The Subea-Tribord buoyancy compensators are made of high-quality materials that have been tested in sea water and in pools. Material: Codura 600d PES. Inflatable chamber fabric: PA210 with PU laminate.
A colour code is used on the valve strap to identify the right size (especially in clubs!)

1/ Rinse your buoyancy compensator thoroughly with clean water. Pay particular attention to the drains and the inflater. 2/ Empty any water that may be contained in the buoyancy compensator by pulling the lower drain tab. Do not store water in the inflatable bladder. 3/ Dry your buoyancy compensator on a wide hanger, out of the sun.
Inspect your buoyancy compensator once a year and look for any signs of wear. Inflate the inflatable chamber by mouth, then wait 12 hours to see if it deflates
It is important to store all diving equipment well clear of sources that produce ozone (electric motors, cookers, etc.) and to protect it against UV rays. If this is not the case, the seals can deteriorate more quickly, affecting your safety or the working order of the regulator. Keep your equipment in a dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.
Servicing buoyancy compensators
Your buoyancy compensator must be inspected and serviced by a certified Subea centre at least every two years, and more often if you are a frequent diver.
Tribord Diving is now called SUBEA, the Decathlon brand dedicated to underwater sports (snorkelling, scuba diving, spearfishing and free-diving). The markings on all our diving products will gradually be replaced. Why SUBEA? Because: "SUBaquatic Experiences are Amazing"! For more information: www.subea.com

Our technical partner: Planet Ocean (the PADI 5-star diving centre) based on the Water Sports Centre by Decathlon in Hendaye - France. The centre uses SUBEA diving equipment throughout the year. The team of instructors are rigorously involved in the development of our SUBEA products: from the design phase with the teams (product managers, designers and engineers), to the endurance tests with the help of the centre’s divers (from beginners to trainee instructors, all year long).
Diving requires the certification of a certified instructor.
