Along with our expert climbers, our design team developed this shoe for performance especially on big wall and small holds. Looking for technicality and versatility? With its precise toe this shoe provides surprising hooking capability thanks to the heel design. Good grip with Vibram XS grip bushing.
Slight asymmetry, offset towards the big toe: this shape gives you great grip on small holds at the expense of some comfort (especially for those with a flame foot shape) Shape suited to technical climbing.
Midsole and outsole: XS GRIP Vibram® rubber, excellent grip and resistance to wear.
breathable lorica® synthetic leather (flexible and precise) in forefoot areas, leather upper. Fastens with two rip-tabs.
If you are a climber working to improve your skills, you can buy them tighter (1/2 -1 size below normal, for example), but it's important they don't hurt, so that your foot can develop mobility, proprioception, and strength. If you are an advanced climber, we suggest you take the time to try different sizes (1 to 2 sizes below normal) to find the best compromise between comfort and compression for more force when pushing off.
Our first tip is to never machine wash your shoes. Thermal and mechanical pressure could damage them. We recommend that you wash them by hand, either with a sponge soaked in clean water or with a sponge soaked in soapy water (Marseille soap), being sure to air-dry them at a stable temperate and avoid drying them on a radiator or in full sunlight. We recommend washing them regularly to increase the life span of the shoes.
The sole bushing wears out quickly when climbing. For regular climbers, the life of the bushings is generally 6 months to 1 year. This depends on many factors (type of rock, climbing style, types of routes, etc.). As soon as you see the synthetic leather through the bushings, you must get them resoled. If you pierce the synthetic leather, resoling will be difficult. Our Decathlon workshops offer resoling services to extend the life of your shoes.
