CROSS TRAINER BENEFITS
A cross trainer provides a full, low-impact exercise activity. It helps you to: - Build endurance - Tone your entire body To keep fit, the WHO recommends practising this activity regularly and at a moderate pace (light perspiration, you should be able to maintain a conversation as you exercise) for 22 minutes/day. To lose weight and, more particularly, reduce body fat, the WHO recommends doing this activity on a regular basis at a moderate pace but for a longer period of time: 44 minutes/day
FLYWHEEL AND PEDALLING PERFORMANCE
A cross trainer's flywheel affects how smoothly the pedals turn. The heavier the flywheel, the smoother the pedalling and the more enjoyable your workout will be.
THE CONSOLE, YOUR VIRTUAL COACH
The Essential+ cross trainer's console features: - 5 functions: calories burnt, distance covered, duration of workout, speed and heart rate with sensors located on the handlebars. - 7 programmes developed in cooperation with our coaches to help you with your training. They allow you to adapt your workout to your goals (weight loss, getting back in shape, toning, performance, etc.).
TIPS TO INCREASE YOUR CROSS TRAINER'S STABILITY
For optimal comfort, we recommend placing specially designed floor pads under your cross trainer (DF 920 floor pads). These foam pads will help to: optimise the stability of the product when in use, reduce vibrations and noise and protect your floor.Domyos cross trainers have two stabilisers at the back of the base to ensure perfect stability during your workouts, regardless of the type of flooring.
TIPS FOR MOVING YOUR CROSS TRAINER
Your cross trainer is equipped with roller wheels at the front. To move it, stand facing the front of it. Block the bike with your foot while pushing down on the handlebar to tilt it onto its roller wheels. Gently push it forward in the desired direction.
