How can I be sure my jacket will protect me in bad weather?
The 150 jacket was rigorously developed and assembled to prevent water from entering and to feel the wind less, to help you cope with bad weather (rain, snow, wind, etc.). To check that it is waterproof, this jacket was placed in a special shower reproducing the conditions a skier has to cope with. We approved this product's waterproofing by skiing in different weather conditions for several days.
What is the point of the water repellent property of my jacket?
The water repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water to run off its surface without seeping in. The 150 jacket is equipped with water-repellent components that prolong its resistance to bad weather. This is an additional technical solution for staying dry for as long possible on the ski slopes. In order to remain effective, this treatment must be regularly restored using products sold in our stores.
‘Coated’ jacket: what are the advantages of this coating?
The coating is a waterproofing material spread over the inner surface of a fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows the water vapour produced by the body's physical activity to escape. So you stay dry and feel more comfortable while practising your sport.
Water often gets in through the seams. Does my jacket have taped seams?
In addition to the waterproof fabric, we have enhanced the waterproof rating of the Slide 150 jacket with taped seams. These are waterproof adhesive strips taped to the inside seams of the garment to make it perfectly watertight. These taped seams are located on the areas most exposed to snow, i.e. generally the shoulders and chest.
How will my ski jacket keep me warm?
We use wadding for insulation to help keep you warm. This polyester-based synthetic material traps air, the quantity of which will depend on the size of the fibres. Wadding can be standard, high-tech or siliconised, each with different properties: warmth, low weight, elasticity, etc. All the wadding that we use is made from recycled materials – usually made out of plastic bottles.
It is a product that eliminates the water vapour produced by the physically active body, keeping you dry. To see if a fabric is breathable, we measure its resistance to evaporative heat (RET) in a standardised ISO 11092 test. The lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. Wed'ze uses high-tech materials and solutions (zips, ventilation, mesh) that help prevent condensation inside the garment. RET of the component of the 150 jacket < 12
How should I dress to avoid feeling cold on the slopes?
To keep warm and dry, use the 3 breathable-layers rule: 1 base layer, 1 fleece to retain heat and 1 ski jacket to protect you from bad weather.
Where can I put my ski pass when taking ski lifts?
You no longer need to get out your ski pass! Your sleeve has a ski pass pocket for quick access to the lifts.

Store on a hanger and do not fold, as this can damage the fabric coating. Dry thoroughly before storing in a dry and well-ventilated place.
All Wed'ze products are designed and developed in the Mont Blanc Valley. They are then tested under the same conditions as you would experience in real-life use (snow, cold, powder snow, etc.) The design teams make sure that the programme for which the product is designed and developed corresponds perfectly to its use in the field.
