The Itiwit team have developed an inflatable stand-up paddle surf board for intermediate users under 90kg on waves from 0.50 to 1.5 metres. With a reinforced drop stitch, 4 stringers, and grip rails, this innovative, inflatable stand-up paddle board lets you take on more waves safely. It is ideal for travelling.
Respect the basics of water safety > check your leash > consider wearing a helmet >respect priorities on the waves > go in conditions suitable for your level, take the time to progress. > If you go to spots far from the shore, wear a 50N buoyancy aid BE SURE TO CLOSE THE HANDLE ONCE IN THE WATER to avoid catching your foot in it.
Inflating & deflating the Stand Up Paddle
INFLATION To inflate your SUP, check that the valve is in the raised position (closed), so that air does not escape. Connect the pump. Inflate to 17 psi. Disconnect the pump and close the outer plug. DEFLATION To deflate your SUP, push the valve in firmly, the air will escape. Never put your head above the air stream. Roll starting from the side opposite to the valve to remove all the air for tight folding
NEVER UNSCREW THE VALVE WHEN THE SUP IS INFLATED! Risk of injury. If the valve leaks, once the SUP is deflated, close it a quarter turn using the tool provided. If necessary, it is possible to change the valve, please consult the workshop of your Decathlon store.
