Expandable volume: 70L + 10 litres extension thanks to adjustable height upper lid. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: We fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container to establish the equivalent volume in litres, within a few percentage points
2.7 kg The empty weight indicated is the weight of our standard TREK 900 70+10L model .There may be slight variations

How do I pack my backpack?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Place heavy equipment (tent, stove, food) near your back. Pack your clothes around these items. The groundsheet can be placed under the flap; the tent can be placed under the bag if there's no room inside. Keep a waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. In the pockets, place small items for the day (sunscreen, map, glasses...). The water bladder should be placed in the specially designed compartment normally found along the back of the bag.
Why are our rain covers grey when some trekkers would prefer bright colours?
The grey coloured cover used for our trekking backpacks is neutral and therefore uses less dye. The component is made of BITON: this process helps us limit our carbon emissions and reduce water pollution and consumption compared to coloured models. Through these kind of small steps, Forclaz demonstrates its commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its products.
In order to be comfortable, a backpack must also be well-balanced while you walk. Symbium technology consists of a jointed waistband that allows the backpack to adapt to the trekker's movements when walking. Symbium technology means an end to the instability and see-sawing that puts a strain on the trekker.
Our engineers have carried out simulated ageing tests on these backpacks. These tests were conducted on the components, seams and finished product. The results of these tests allow FORCLAZ to guarantee their bags for 10 years from the purchase date shown on the receipt
Store your bag in a dry, well-ventilated place, out of the sun.
All our backpacks are tested by target customers in conditions similar to those encountered in real life. In particular, our "Mission Tests" bring together the product manager with people who are not affiliated with DECATHLON to test, improve and validate the products. This specific model was approved by hikers touring Mont Blanc.
