Quick to pitch. Free-standing tent (place it wherever you like, and if there's no wind, no need for pegs = ready to use!). Easy to fold thanks to the guide system.
We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or trekking mattress measuring 60 cm maximum. We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses above 6 cm deep in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.
1 high air vent at the back and 2 spaces between the flysheet and the floor on each side in the middle of the bedroom to allow a change of air and to reduce the natural phenomenon of condensation as much as possible.
All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours), as well as in the field. (2000mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the fly sheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the fly sheet.
Resistance to wind
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 50 km/h near the ground (Force 6).
A score for comparing products’ environmental impact
The products’ environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An overall score from A to E is given to help you easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, rucksacks, etc.) Decathlon actively promotes this environmental rating system. Warranty / After-sales service
As designers and users who love our playing field, we care about the durability of our products, that is why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts are available in store or on our website. If you have a problem, have your tent looked at in your nearest Decathlon shop.
Storage: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould forming.
Our design team conceives, plans and designs Quechua products in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc. We test them in the field with other campers, to check their comfort and durability. From Brittany to Corsica, we go to as many places as possible, in all weather conditions. This provides us with a great opportunity to discuss things, which is an invaluable way of obtaining your feedback and preparing our future products!
