Our team, all parents of young skiers, developed these ski pants to help children learn to ski. Keeps you warm and dry for a week's skiing. 100 ski pants are waterproof and warm. Ideal to learn to ski in the best conditions.
Thermal insulation will keep your young skiers at the right temperature, neither too hot nor too cold. The garment adapts to the body's physical movement and to the outside environment. Wed'ze uses wadding for insulation to keep the body warm. This synthetic wadding containing polyester stores more or less air, depending on the size of the fibres. So the thicker the wadding, the more air it contains, and the warmer it is.
The coating is a waterproof substance that's spread on the inner side of the outer fabric. It prevents water from seeping into the garment but allows the water vapour produced by an active body to escape. This keeps you dry and is more comfortable.
As well as the waterproof material, we use sealed seams to make the 100 trousers more waterproof. These are waterproof adhesive strips taped to the inside seams of the garment to make it perfectly watertight. These taped seams are present on the areas most exposed to snow. For trousers, this is the area around the buttocks.
A label at the top of the liner allows you to enter your child's name to personalize the product. A useful tip to help find your trousers when attending skiing lessons, at nursery or at school.
The product's environmental footprint is calculated for its entire life and with various indicators. An overall score from A to E is given to help you easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.) Decathlon is committed to displaying the environmental data of its products. All Wed’ze products are tested in the same real-life conditions in which they are used and for which they were designed: in the snow, in the cold, in all possible skiing conditions. The design teams, product managers, engineers and garment designers ensure the product's design corresponds perfectly to its real-world use.
