2 snap buttons let you connect the gloves to each other. Why? To hang them on your handlebars so that you can finish packing your hydration backpack. To hang them from our new ST 500 shorts during a break in your tour. To forever stop searching for a missing glove in a load of laundry or in a drawer. Pretty clever, right?
MTB gloves are important for your safety all year round. It is essential to cover your entire hand, from palm to fingertips, to protect yourself from the snagging of vegetation. Especially in forests or on single tracks. Even more important, if you fall, your first instinct is it to catch yourself with your hands.MTB gloves keep your hands from getting scratched and cut. The gloves also provide a bit of cushioning from vibrations.
Our engineers and designers closely studied the hand's contact points in MTB. They chose: - a material on top of the hand that withstands vegetation. - a material on the palm that sticks to the handlebars' handles. - silicone bands that stick to the brakes (on 3 fingers, as 3 fingers are all that is required to brake). Certain contact points, like the palm, are also reinforced while others are breathable.
These ST100 gloves are compatible with your smartphone. You can follow your GPS route, use your apps, and take pictures at any time thanks to the "Touch Screen" material at the fingertips.
The seams were specifically designed to be more resistant to tearing.
Because mountain bikers sweat more than your average tennis players, a small zone at the thumb has spongy fabric. Some also call it "a tiny towel".
Use the 2 snap buttons to store the right and left gloves together.
Our engineers routinely have our products tested by mountain bikers in real-life conditions. These tests are completed in the lab and let us check our products before their commercialisation.
