To give you optimal comfort and performance when running, we concentrated our attention on the sole which features 2 concepts: - K-Ring: a ring located in the heel to improve cushioning at the rear and spread the shockwave in order to provide effective protection for the body: joints, back, knees, etc. - Kalensole: improves cushioning by 34% and propulsion 25% compared with standard foam and lasts up to 1,000 km.

In order to run regularly over long distances, foot comfort is of the utmost importance. So, we tried to improve the level of comfort with the following: - an ultra comfortable 'half-slipper' upper - enhanced cushioning at the forefoot thanks to a thicker sole - a revised forefoot area - a seamless, single piece of fabric to reduce friction

So that you can make progress and improve your personal best times from 10 km to the marathon distance, the KIPRUN KD 500 improves propulsion (acceleration) with each stride thanks to the sole geometry combined with the Kalensole foam padding.

The research and development studies have shown that a lighter product improves running performance by reducing energy consumption. Without compromising on comfort and durability, the design of the KD 500 uses lighter materials and an optimised sole design. Weight: 222 g in size 5.5.

Our sole is designed like a car tyre for running performance without losing control in wet conditions. The new sole geometry combined with a new rubber component gives the KIPRUN KD 500 excellent grip on wet ground, even when running at top speed.

The height difference between the back and front of the sole is 8 mm.
