A fabric's resistance to water pressure is measured by the height of a column of water that can be supported by the fabric in mm (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A waterproof rating of 2000 mm means that the fabric can withstand the pressure exerted by 2000 mm column of water (the equivalent of a rain shower lasting for two hours).
A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An overall score from A to E is given to help you easily identify the most environmentally-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc). Decathlon is committed to displaying the environmental data of its products. For more information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/

Quechua is based at the foot of the Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our design teams create and develop simple good-looking high-tech products. They are then ruthlessly tested in the field in collaboration with our technical partners and mountain professionals in the most demanding conditions. We believe it's only through rigorous testing in real-life conditions, identical to those you will experience, that we can continue to improve our products.
