These mittens were developed to keep your baby's hands warm and dry when they are discovering sledging for the first time. Warm mittens which are easy to get on thanks to the wide opening. Young riders can also easily move their hands inside the mittens to make the most of the snow.
Our designers use wadding to keep the body warm. This polyester-based synthetic component traps more or less air according to its thickness. So the thicker the wadding, the more air it contains and the warmer it is.
The resistance of a fabric to water pressure is expressed in terms of the height in mm of a water column that can be supported by the fabric (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more the fabric is waterproof. A component with a waterproof rating of 2000 mm is therefore resistant to the pressure exerted by a 2000 mm column of water. A guarantee of the mittens' quality.
These mittens can be machine washed. If you follow the care instructions, you will prolong the product's lifetime.
The wide opening on top of the hand make them easy to get on. A rip-tab closure holds the mitten in the right position on the wrist, to protect your child's small hands from the snow and offer them more freedom.
Dry thoroughly before storing in a dry and well-ventilated place.
All the sledging products are tested under the real-life conditions for which they are designed: snow, cold and all the conditions you're likely to encounter when sledging. The design teams, product managers, engineers and pattern makers check that the programme for which the product was designed and developed perfectly suits its use in the field.
