An FIVB-approved volleyball
This beach volleyball has been designed to meet International Volleyball Federation requirements. To get approval, we have to send several balls to the Federation. They are then tested by professional players. They also undergo tests in play and in the lab before receiving the FIVB logo.
Official resistance and weight
This beach volleyball has been lab tested. After 5,000 shots on a cement plate at a speed of 50 km/h, it retains its shape, does not puncture, and suffers no damage to its stitching. This ball also complies with official standards and weighs between 260 g and 280 g.
New panel design
To keep up with developments in the sport, this ball has an exclusive panel design. Our beach volleyball designers have used a 12-panel hand-stitched technique for this ball.
We conduct a temperature chamber test at 66°C for 6.5 h that serves to accelerate the product's ageing and check that its basic features, like its ability to maintain pressure and durability, are consistent both before and after the test.
We test the ball by rotating it continuously in 2cm of water for 6 hours. At the end of the test, the ball absorbed no more than 15% of its initial weight. The SEAM CLOSING process prevents water from seeping in and hides the joint seams between the panelling.
We chose to use a bladder made from 80% butyl for a more durable inflation. This ball's optimal pressure as recommended by the FIVB is 0.2 bars.
To keep your ball in top shape, moisten the pump needle with a couple drops of water when you inflate your ball.
