All Wedze gloves and mittens have a water-repellent treatment that prevents the fabric from absorbing water but instead ensures it slides across the surface. This means the fabric does not become saturated with water. It remains light and warm. A fabric becomes water-repellent thanks to a treatment applied to its outer surface. To remain effective, this treatment must be renewed every 2 to 3 washes with specific products that are available in our stores.
This ski glove has a water-resistant membrane that consists of a very thin polymer film, placed between the lining and the part of the glove in contact with the outside. This membrane acts as a barrier to water and makes the product waterproof. In addition, the external materials on the product have undergone a water-repellent treatment that reduces water absorption.Only a rubber-type glove is waterproof. In extremely wet conditions, even a glove with a membrane will have limited watertightness.
All Wedze gloves and mittens are windproof. Did you know that wind makes you feel colder? With an outside temperature of 0°C and a wind speed of 20 km/h, the temperature feels like -10°C. Windproof components can reduce the cooling effects related to the wind or the relative speed of sports activity.
Simply pull the wrist-strap with the opposite hand for speedy and effective adjustment.
An elasticated drawstring that you position around the wrist allows you to remove your gloves on ski lifts without the risk of losing them.
Dry thoroughly before storing.
Wedze gloves and mittens are tested in the real conditions of use for which they were designed: snow, cold and all other conditions related to skiing. The design teams ensure that the programme for which the product was designed and developed perfectly matches its use in the field.
