When starting trail running or when you are on a short run near to your home, you will sometimes find yourself running on relatively flat terrain involving sections of road. So, to accompany you on your first trail runs or as a spare pair of shoes for your short runs, we suggest the TR: a trail running shoe that delivers the comfort and cushioning you need as soon as you leave home, on trail running paths as well as on roads.
For added flexibility, the sole of the TR has flex grooves along its entire length: this facilitates your foot motion. The rubber of the sole provides more grip. And with the 4 mm lugs, running on sections of road remains comfortable. There is also a lace pocket so that the laces don't get in the way when you are running. Finally, the TR is lightweight: weighin 270 g in size 5.5, it's recommended for trail runners of up to 11 st.
Kalensole is the EVA foam used in the midsole. It took three years of research to create this exclusive composition that improves cushioning by 34%, propulsion by 25% and provides better temperature stability and durability! What about the CS? The Circular System is composed of a bubble of air contained in the foam at the heel. This spreads the shockwave more effectively and more evenly in this area of the foot.
Exclusive Kalenji technology that makes our trail shoes suitable for every stride type thanks to the denser foam located under the first metatarsus.
The DROP of a shoe is the difference in sole height between the front (forefoot) and the back (heel). The shorter the DROP, the more natural the foot movement. The DROP of the TR running shoe is 10 mm.
After numerous laboratory tests and several prototypes, our design team tested the TR in real-life conditions on the trail running route of the Côte d'Opale, in midwinter. The result is a multi-purpose comfortable trail running shoe that will eat up the miles. What's more, it was voted shoe of the year in 2018 by Endurance Trail magazine in the Road To Trail category.
Here is the advice of Annabelle, our trail shoe product engineer, and Cyrille, our product manager, for starting trail running: "The most important thing is that you enjoy your trail runs. Build them up gradually so you don't cut any corners – opt for regularity. Don't forget to take in the scenery and the places you are running in..."
In order to maintain your trail shoes and absorb any residual humidity between 2 running sessions, stuff your shoes with some newspaper.
This EVADICT shoe has been tested on a wide range of distances and terrains by many male and female runners. The shoe has also undergone a series of mechanical tests in the lab.
