Our hiking designers have created these NH500 Fresh shorts in an eco-responsible way for your regular walks in the forest or on the coast, in dry weather.
Our motivation? To offer you lightweight organic cotton shorts with nine pockets so that you don’t have to carry a backpack. It has an adjustable waistband and adapts to all body shapes.

Despite the stretch component, these Bermuda shorts are small in size, we advise you to choose a size larger than your usual size.

What have we done to reduce our environmental impact?

The main fabric that these trousers are made from contains 79% organically grown cotton. Since 2006, we have been using organic cotton, a relatively small market that currently accounts for just 0.4% of global cotton production. It is cotton grown without chemical fertilisers or pesticides. It preserves biodiversity, soil fertility and reduces the risk of polluting the water tables.

Thanks to your feedback, we have improved the design and concept of our NH500 shorts. In this new model, we have changed the component to add elastane (2%) to improve your freedom of movement. The component is also lighter. We have also changed the shape of the shorts and increased the depth of the pockets to limit the loss of objects. Finally, we have improved the cut of the shorts at the crotch.

We recommend that you store these shorts folded or on a hanger, in a dry place.

Our design team thinks up, draws and designs the Quechua products at the foot of the Mont Blanc, in France. We test them in the field with other hikers, to check their comfort and durability. In the Fontainebleau Forest, Brittany or even Corsica for example. We go on as many footpaths as possible, in all weather conditions. This creates plenty of opportunities for discussion to get your feedback which is used to plan our future products!
