Sun protection

Clothing remains the best form of protection from the sun's rays: preferably wear long sleeves, trousers and hats with wide brims. Please note: a T-shirt alone does not provide adequate protection: the thickness of the fabric, the density of the weave and even the colour can impact the rate of UV filtered. The UPF 40+/ 50+ certification guarantees compliance with European standards. A UPF 40+ rating means that 97.5% of rays are blocked out, 50+ that more than 98% of rays are blocked out.

Durability of the components

Abrasion and friction resistance test: for example, we carry out laboratory tests to check that the fleeces do not pill. Colour fastness test: we check colour fastness to ensure that colours do not bleed when coming into contact with saliva. Ageing test: repeated washing must not alter the fabric's original properties, including its shape, thickness or appearance.
