We carry out many tests to guarantee optimal durability: a test to measure resistance to wear and rubbing to ensure that the fleece doesn't pill, a colour-fastness test to check that colours do not run and resist and an aging test to certify that repeated washing does not alter the properties of the fabric, its reactions, thickness or aspect
The fleece component is designed to trap air thanks to the space created by its texture; this air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm. The brushing of the knit fabric is what traps the air.
Did you know that a plastic bottle takes 100 to 1,000 years to biodegrade? We have developed a fleece fabric made from recycled polyester. It is made from the recycling of industrial waste and plastic bottles (recycled polyester from 65% bottles and 35% recycled threads).

We carry out 2 types of warmth tests: - either a test on our fleece fabrics. - or on a thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. We reproduce temperatures, wind (5km/h) and damp that you will encounter in the mountains on a 5 km/h walk. These tests enable us to confirm our design choices. We adapt thermal insulation where you need it most.
